Wedding: Jenny & Scott

Yesterday evening, Jenny and Scott were married at Otter Creek Park in Brandenburg, KY. This was a Summit Energy weekend as Scott was also a former co-worker of mine (see Erin below). I used to live in nearby Radcliff and had visited the park many times, but never realized how picturesque the place was, particularly at sunset. I've posted a few of my favorites below.

Wedding: Erin & Kurt

I had the honor of photographing Erin and Kurt's wedding yesterday. Erin's a former co-worker of mine from Summit Energy--nothing like a little extra pressure =). Really, everyone from the bride and groom to the bridal party, the parents, everybody was fun and laid back and that just makes it so easy to make great pictures. I must have a store of good karma, because the good weather seems to follow me around! It was a bit on the hot side, but otherwise beautiful for a wedding. The ceremony was held at St. James Episcopal Church in Louisville, KY and the reception was at the Mellwood Arts & Entertainment Center--both beautiful sites and I'd love to work at either of those places again.

Wedding: Julie & Jin

A couple of days late in getting some of these pictures up, but here are some pics from Julie and Jin's wedding this past Sunday. This couple is actually a friend of my mom's and the wedding was held at their church in Louisville, KY. One of the big perks this weekend was getting to share in the Korean food! The weather was perfect, everyone was super nice and I had a really great time.

Wedding: Sarah & Jesse

I covered two weddings this weekend, the first of which was for Sarah and Jesse in Hodgenville, KY on Saturday. I've only just downloaded the pictures and I'm posting below my early favorite. It's a close-up of the flower girl--something that I think that has a timeless/classic feel. The sepia toning just added to it.

Marriott Shoot

Earlier today I worked on an advertising shoot for the Louisville Downtown Marriott and we came away with some really great stuff. Thanks goes out to models Alex and Robert, make-up artist Genelle C, Rebecca's Wedding Boutique, florist Joe Devers and the Marriott staff. It was a working day, but I think all of us had a good time this Sunday afternoon. If you haven't been to the Marriott, you should really check it out!
