Wedding: Christina & Derek

The never-rained-on-a-wedding streak almost came to an end yesterday at Christina and Derek's nuptial in Lanesville, IN yesterday afternoon. As I was leaving Louisville it was raining so hard that traffic was moving at a crawl along I-64. By the time I made it to St. Mary's the rain had stopped. And then when the reception rolled around, which was held at a family home, the sun was out in all its glory. So, it all worked out, my streak is intact and we made some great pictures!

Wedding: Melissa & Davin

I had the pleasure of photographing Melissa and Davin's wedding yesterday at Christ Church United Methodist in Louisville, KY. They had their reception at the Polo Fields Country Club. Working with a couple like these two just really makes me appreciate what I do. Everyone in the wedding party was so very friendly and laid back that I don't even realize that what I'm doing is considered work. To be given the responsibility and honor to photograph a couple's most important day, and to be received so warmly--it just doesn't get any better than this.

Wedding: Amy & Chad

Yesterday I had the honor of photographing Amy and Chad's wedding in Caldwell Chapel at the Louisville Presbyterian Seminary. I'm pretty sure this was the first theme wedding I've ever photographed--they decided to go with a 1920's theme. These two definitely have a cool and unique style and I really enjoyed photographing them and their wedding party.
