Wedding: Stacy & Matt

We had unseasonably warm weather this weekend (mid 60s in December!), much to the delight of Stacy and Matt who were married at Duncan Memorial Chapel in Crestwood, KY -- my second trip to the church in as many weeks! After the ceremony we headed over to the Mellwood Arts Center for the reception. I've never had as many opportunities to make portraits of the couple as I have this wedding--due in large part to Matt's appreciation for photography (as he is a photographer himself).

We spent time making pictures before the ceremony, and then after the reception we spent some time down at Waterfront Park, shortly before sunset. These guys were open to every suggestion (my favorite kind of client, lol)!

Wedding: Alison & Jacob

You know that cliche, "beautiful inside and out"? Well, that definitely applies to Alison and Jacob--what a wonderful couple! I had the honor of photographing their wedding this weekend, which was at the picturesque Duncan Memorial Chapel in Crestwood, KY. I've been here a few times and it's awfully hard not to be inspired. Later in the evening, everyone gathered at The Water Tower for the reception. Favorites from the day posted below!

Wedding: Brittany & Brent

I was able to make a return trip to my favorite venue this past Saturday--absolutely love the dance floor at 300 Spring! Brittany and Brent were married at First Christian Church before making their way to an evening reception in Jeffersonville, IN. These two guys were very laid back, cracking jokes and showing no signs of nervousness, at least that I could tell. It was an honor to photograph a wedding for such a genial couple.
