Wedding: Kayla & George

I spent this past Saturday in Tallahassee, FL photographing Kayla and George's wedding. Both the ceremony and reception were held at The Retreat at Bradley's Pond, a scenic waterside event hall. It's silly, but I really liked the trees with the Spanish Moss--you don't see that sort of thing in Kentucky. These two were a really nice couple--a joy to photograph.

Wedding: Shannon & Wes

The weekend before last I photographed Shannon and Wes' wedding and reception at The Grand in New Albany, IN. You wouldn't normally think of an alleyway as a place to take pictures, but with the good light and the urban feel, we came away with some edgy shots from a place you wouldn't normal given a second thought to. Traditional wedding photography really isn't for me and I like opportunities like this to make something a little more contemporary.

Wedding: Leah & Adam

I'm doing my best to catch up on all of my blogging--this has been the busiest month ever for me! The weekend before last, Leah and Adam had an intimate wedding ceremony with their family in Leah's hometown of Owenton, KY. Everything was arranged sort of at the last minute as Adam was just finishing up medical school and on his way to a residency. Congratulations to the both of you on your new life together!

Wedding: Jill & Aaron

Jill and Aaron were married last Saturday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Louisville, KY. Both of them played volleyball in college and I would have to say that they were the tallest bride/groom that I have photographed. The wedding party was also very tall, too. I'm 6 ft. and I felt short! =)

Jill got ready back in the classroom section of the church and so we used the bright colors to our advantage and had some fun with a few portraits. Vivid colors was definitely the theme of the day!

Wedding: Lindsey & Zach

The second part of last week's double-header involved shooting Lindsey and Zach's wedding in Florida on Grayton Beach. After the beach ceremony, everyone walked over to the condo for an intimate reception with friends and family. It was beautifully decorated and a pleasure to photograph!

Wedding: Ashley & Tyler

What a weekend! I'm just now catching up from flying to Mexico and then Florida for a pair of weddings. Last Friday I photographed Ashley and Tyler's wedding at the Grand Sirenis resort on the Mayan Riveria--a little over an hour from Cancun. The weather and the setting was absolutely gorgeous. When I have more time, I need to go back there for a vacation!
