Wedding: Jennifer & Conley

Last Saturday Jennifer and Conley were married in Clarksville, IN at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, where Jennifer also teaches fifth graders at the accompanying school. Even though it was a very bright and sunny day, I kept finding good pockets of nice, but not overpowering light. I've posted my favorites below!

Wedding: Laura & Sean

Laura and Sean were married on a pretty Sunday afternoon last weekend in downtown, historic Lexington, KY at the beautiful Bodley-Bullock House. Close family and friends were in attendence to witness the event before the couple left for their honeymoon in Spain! A Mark Twain poem I had never heard was included in the program:

Marriage makes of two fractional lives a whole;
it gives to two purposeless lives a work,
& doubles the strength of each whereby to perform it;
it gives to two questioning natures a reason for living,
& something to live for;
it will give a new gladness to the sunshine,
a new fragrance to the flowers,
a new beauty to the earth,
a new mystery to life.

Wedding: Lee & Shane

Shooting a wedding (and reception) entirely outdoors is a rarity, or at least it seems so for me. Somtimes you get a few during the summer and such was the case last Saturday for Lee and Shane's wedding. Farmington Historic House in Louisville, KY served as the ceremony site for their mid-afternoon wedding. It was a beautiful and pleasantly warm day--I think I used the flash only for a few shots at the end.

Wedding: Bekah & Mike

Bekah and Mike returned to Louisville, KY to have their wedding last week. The both of them finished getting ready at the Hyatt Regencey before making their way over to St. Boniface Catholic Church for the ceremony. It did rain a little at the start of the service, but by the time the recessional rolled around, it had stopped and we were able to shoot outside in front of the church, which has these beautiful golden doors. The night ended with a fun reception at the Frazier International History Museum.

Wedding: Lisa & Tim

This past Friday I photographed a wedding for Lisa and Tim at Holy Family Catholic Chruch in Louisville, KY. The reception was later held at Masterson's. Lisa is a crafty person (not in a bad way, at least as far as I know =)), and created these cool paper lanterns (pic below) that were at each table during the reception. It's a great way of showing off photos, so of course I dug them!

Wedding: Amber & Dean

Amber and Dean were married last Sunday at the Governors Club in Brentwood, TN. It was a warm, but beautiful outdoor Scottish wedding. The couple had guests from all over the world--Sweden, South Africa, Mexico, Scottland, a few countries from South America and a couple others I can't remember at the moment. =) Favorites below!
