Wedding: Alexis & Phil

I was back on the road this weekend and on Sunday I photographed Alexis and Phil's wedding in beautiful Asheville, NC. They were married at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Asheville and the reception (DJ'd by Audio To Go) was later held at On Broadway. Phil and I worked together briefly at ATA and it was a real honor to photograph the wedding for him and his beautiful bride.

These two were smiling all night long--see for yourself. =)

Wedding: Lynn &Jeff

Yesterday was another close call with the weather. That seems to be happening a lot lately. Luckily the rain stayed away until late in the reception for Lynn and Jeff's wedding at Waveland State Historic Site in Lexington, KY. Earlier in the day we devoted a good amount of time to portraits and I have to say I'm really happy with the results. Every wedding and couple is different, but when you have more time you usually end up with quite a few fun portraits. These guys were a great couple and I know they have a great future ahead of them. Congratulations, you two! =)

Wedding: Jennifer & Paul

I spent this last weekend in New York City shooting a very fun wedding on the upper east side in Manhattan. We started the day off with Jennifer, Paul, their family and the wedding party by shooting portraits in Central Park. That place is pretty much a photographer's dream. Afterwards we went to Central Presbyterian Church for the ceremony and then later had the reception at the Lotos Club. I had the pleasure of working with videographer Tommy Nolan, (view the highlight video) who recently relocated to NYC from Louisville. My early favorites are posted below!

Wedding: Rebekka & Derek

The forecast was for flash flooding and severe thunderstorms this last weekend in Pensacola Beach, FL. Things didn't look good at the start of the day, but amazingly the sun broke through and we had beautiful weather for Rebekka and Derek's wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was a beautiful wedding and I don't think things could have turned out any better!
